What is Contingent?

A contingent refers to a group of students from a single college who will be present at The E-Summit. They will act as the representatives of their college in all the E-Summit 2025 events.

Why participate?

During E-Summit 2025, various competitions will provide opportunities for a contingent to represent their college.

The contingent will serve as the representatives of their college and will receive certificates to acknowledge their role.

The winning contingent will be awarded as best contingent and a trophy.

Accommodation assistance will be extended to the contingent.

The winning contingent will be featured on the Instagram page of ECell IIT Madras.

Rules and Guidelines

  • Leader Registration:

    Leaders must register to access additional information and resources related to the event or program.

  • Participant Benefits:

    Registered participants will receive an ALL ACCESS student pass, granting them discounted prices.

  • Event Participation:

    Participation in certain events is based on a first-come, first-served policy, so it is recommended to arrive on time. Please note that if you are unable to participate in a specific event, we are not responsible for any inconvenience caused.

  • Passes for Participation:

    For participating as contingent, you need to buy ALL-ACCESS pass only and the discounts will be provided on the same.

  • Team Size:

    To be eligible, a contingent must include at least 5 members.

  • Number of Contingents:

    A single college is allowed to form multiple contingents.

  • Disciplinary Actions:

    In case of any breach of the code of conduct that leads to disputes involving contingents, the decision of E-Cell IIT Madras will be final and binding.

Points System for Events

  • Every team would be provided with 50 points for participating in the Summit on-spot events.

  • The first-place team will earn 350 points, while the second-place team will receive 300 points, and the third-place team will be awarded 250 points.

  • The points will be accumulated for each team, and the winners will be determined based on the highest total points.

  • If there is a tie, the winner will be determined based on team strength and the number of events participated in.
